Connect Stripe to your Punchpass account

Accept credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay as payment methods at checkout by connecting a Stripe account to Punchpass.

Stripe offers flexible, global checkout options and access to over 100 customizable payment methods.

With the Stripe integration to Punchpass, you're able to securely process online payments, manage subscriptions, and handle other financial transactions.

  • Current processing rates can be found at https://stripe.com/pricing. Make sure you choose your country in the page footer.

  • If you elect to sell memberships, Stripe will also charge you a small invoicing fee each time a membership renews, more on that here: https://stripe.com/invoicing/pricing.

  • Punchpass does NOT charge any additional fees for processing online payments.

  • With Punchpass, your Stripe account is always yours to keep; we don't restrict access to your data.

Connect Stripe to Punchpass

From Manage Settings > Online Payments, click the Connect with Stripe button.


Sign into Stripe

Log into your existing Stripe account or create a new one using the following steps.

Already have a Stripe account?


Luckily, Stripe makes it easy to sign in and connect your existing account and it takes only a few minutes.

Note: If you have a Stripe account that was previously connected to another software platform (like Mindbody or Squarespace) you'll need to create a new Stripe account and then copy any information over (see below).


Select Your Stripe Business Account

After signing into Stripe, Stripe will provide you with a list of accounts to connect to Punchpass.

Select the appropriate account to connect to Punchpass and press Connect.

Stripe will then complete the connection and redirect you back to Punchpass and you'll see the Stripe integration is complete.

Need to Create a New Account with your Existing Business Information?

Sign into your Stripe account and click Create a new account.

Once you do that, you will be able to select and copy your business details from your old Stripe account so you don't need to re-enter them. Select your business information and press Continue.

On the last screen, verify your business details, and click Agree and Submit. Once you do this, your new Stripe account will be connected and ready to process payments.

​Don't Have a Stripe Account yet?

You can sign up for a Stripe account during this process.

After you click on the Connect with Stripe button in Punchpass, you'll arrive at a Stripe sign-in form and create an account there.

Complete the Online Sales Setup

With Stripe connected to Punchpass, you'll be redirected back to Punchpass.

Visit Manage > Passes and review the online sales settings for your offers and sell through Stripe.

Please follow this guide for adding passes and memberships, customizing the purchase experience, and getting ready to sell online.

Migrate your Customer Data

If you have customer data in your old Stripe account that you'd like to access, we're happy to help you copy and migrate that information to the new Stripe account.

Disconnecting your Stripe Account

To remove Stripe's payment methods, disconnect Stripe at any time by visiting Manage > Settings > Online Payments and pressing the Disconnect Stripe Account button.

After Stripe is disconnected from Punchpass, membership invoices will stop, and customers won’t be able to check out using credit cards, debit cards, or Apple Pay.

Note:

  • If you reconnect the same account, recurring payments for active memberships will be reactivated. If you connect a different account, customers will have to add a payment method to your memberships.

  • If you connect a new account, you won't be able to view payment activity for orders processed with the old account. To view these orders, log into your old account on Stripe.
