Often when transitioning to Punchpass from another provider, you will already have a Stripe account setup. However you cannot connect that account to Punchpass, because Stripe limits how many external platforms (like Punchpass) can be connected to an account. But there is a solution!

Stripe has created a very simple and easy way for you to create a new account that is essentially a duplicate of your existing one. The new account will contain all your same business information, all of your existing customers, as well as all of their payment information. Creating this new Stripe account and connecting it to Punchpass then lets us move your existing memberships over so you can transition to Punchpass with no interruption to your existing ongoing memberships.

Here's what you need to do:

First - log into your Stripe account in your browser. You can go to https://dashboard.stripe.com. Log in, or if the dashboard loads then that means you are already logged in.

Second - go to Punchpass and log into your account. Click on Manage, Settings, and then Online Payments. Click the blue 'Connect With Stripe' button to get started.

You'll see a page asking you which account you'd like to connect to Punchpass. This is important - click the 'Create a new account' button that is underneath the pink Connect button.

Once you do that, you will be able to select your existing Stripe account, which tells Stripe you want to create a duplicate. Select your business information and press Continue.

Finally you'll be asked verify your business details, and click Agree and Submit. Once you do this, your new Stripe account will be connected and ready to process payments.

It can take an hour or two for the data to be copied over. If you are doing this as part of a migration to Punchpass, please just reach back out to support once you have completed this step, so we can proceed with loading your information in.
