Congratulations on your growing business! As you expand to teaching at multiple locations, keeping your schedule organized becomes increasingly important. Your students need a simple way to find classes at their preferred venues, and you need an efficient system to manage everything from one place.

Punchpass's location filtering feature is designed specifically for businesses that are expanding to multiple teaching spaces. Whether you've added a second studio across town, teach at partner locations, or offer both in-person and virtual options, our location feature helps you manage this growth seamlessly.

Setting Up Location Filtering

Adding Your Locations

  1. Navigate to Manage > Settings > Public Schedule

  2. Scroll down to find and click Manage class locations (Note: If you've previously customized this filter, the button may have a different label)

  3. Enter your first location name (e.g., "Main Studio" or "Downtown Location")

  4. Click the + Add Class Locations button

  5. Repeat for each additional teaching location

Here is a quick tutorial on how to add a new location to your Schedule:

Customizing Your Filter Label (Optional)

If you'd prefer a different term than "Locations":

  1. Navigate to Manage > Settings > Public Schedule

  2. Scroll down to find and click Manage class locations (Note: If you've previously customized this filter, the button may have a different label)

  3. Enter your preferred label (e.g., "Studios" or "Venues") in the field provided

  4. Click the Change Name button

Assigning Locations to Your Classes

For Classes Already on Your Schedule:

  1. Go to Manage > Classes

  2. Select the class you want to update

  3. From the class overview page, click Manage the Schedule button at the top

  4. Find the specific class time and click Edit

  5. Select Change Details and choose the appropriate location from the dropdown menu

  6. Click Update Class Time Details to save your changes

For New Classes:

When adding new classes to your schedule, simply select the appropriate location during the setup process.

How Your Students Will Find Classes

Once you've set up your locations and assigned them to classes:

  • Students will see a location filter at the top of your public schedule

  • They can select a specific location to view only the classes offered there

  • This makes it easy for them to find classes at their preferred or closest venue

  • They can easily switch between locations or view all classes across all locations

Beyond Physical Locations: Other Ways to Use This Feature

While most businesses use this feature for physical locations, you can also repurpose it for:

  • Class format (in-studio, outdoor, virtual)

  • Different levels (all levels, beginner, level 3)

  • Class categories (cardio, floor, weights, strength)

  • Pop-up events or temporary teaching spaces
