Our Mailerlite integration is available on all plans.

How to Connect Mailerlite and Punchpass

To integrate MailerLite with Punchpass, you'll need your MailerLite API token.

What is an API token? An API token is a unique identifier used to authenticate and authorize access to an API, allowing secure communication between your application and the API service.

Follow these simple steps to locate and create an API token for Punchpass and add it to your Punchpass account.

Step 1: Log in to Your MailerLite Account

Open your web browser and navigate to your dashboard in MailerLite.

Step 2: Access the Account Settings

Once logged in, select Integrations from the menu. This will take you to the Integrations page.

Under Mailerlite API, next to the option for API, click the Use button.

Step 3: Generate the API Token

You're now on the Integrations > API page. On the API settings page, you should see a section labeled Developer API.

  1. To create an API token for Punchpass, click the Generate new token button.

  2. To set up the new token, you have a few steps to complete:

    • Name your token for easy identification (e.g., "Punchpass Mailerlite token"),

    • For Choose IP Restrictions, select the option: All IPs allowed,

    • Make sure to select the checkbox for the Terms of Use,

    • Press Create Token.

  3. Once generated, your new API token will be displayed.

Step 4: Copy the API Token for Punchpass

You're now going to copy the API token to paste into Punchpass. We recommend copying and/or downloading this token. You might wish to keep this page open in your browser while you continue setting this up in Punchpass.

To copy the API token:

  1. Highlight the entire API token and select Copy, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (Mac).

Step 5: Paste the API Token in Punchpass

In Punchpass, navigate to Manage > Settings > Integrations, and select Connect to Mailerlite.

Paste the copied API token into the designated text field by right-clicking and selecting Paste, or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac). Press Save.

Mailerlite is now connected to Punchpass. 🎉

Important API Tips:

  • Keep It Secure: Treat your API token like a password. Anyone with access to it can potentially control your MailerLite account.

  • Regenerate if Necessary: If you suspect that your API token has been compromised, you can regenerate it from the same Developer API section in MailerLite.

By following these steps, you've now created a MailerLite API token and integrated it with Punchpass for seamless email management.
