When setting up a series, you can require payment for the group of classes by turning on a ticket for the series.
We also support linking a pass directly to a Series if you would prefer to use a pass instead of ticketing.
Note: Once you've linked a payment option, please be sure to check the original class settings to review the eligible classes/passes.
Setting up a payment option for Series
Which payment option is best for your series?
Choose series payment with tickets if:
You'll have multiple sessions of a series, created from the same class, and have customers that want to enroll in multiple sessions. For example, you'll offer a Strength Training series of classes every couple of months and your customers in the January session might also like to participate the April session.
You want customers to purchase and register for classes upfront. Series with tickets will prioritize filling classes with reservations for the entire series.
Choose series payments with passes if:
You need more flexibility with your reservations. When a pass is linked to a series, and there are multiple series that eligible for that same pass, customers with this pass will be able to make reservations for the additional sessions without purchasing another pass. They will appear as needing a pass only when they've used the credits for pass they originally purchased.
You'd like to set up the series with a donation-based or sliding scale payment.
You're looking to maximize individual class reservations.
You want to allow customers to self-cancel their series reservations and individual class reservations.

Setting up Tickets for the Series Payment
With Series Tickets, you can require payment to book a Series without having to create a new pass type. The process matches our individual class/workshop Ticket feature, but will provide a ticket to cover all sessions within the series!
After you create the Series, or from Manage Classes > click on the series name, click Enable Tickets for this Series button:
Next, set the full price of the entire series that you would like customers to pay and press the Save button to enable the series ticket:
3. Customers will now be prompted to purchase the ticket when they go to make a reservation for the series from your public schedule:
Next Steps
Review the class settings or pass settings to check the corresponding eligible pass or class.
Linking a Pass for the Series Payment
If you would prefer to create a special pass for your series and require customers to purchase a pass instead of using Series Ticketing, you will need to choose not to enable tickets for the series or turn that feature off.
When setting up the pass, be sure to set the number of credits equal to the number of sessions in your series.
When creating or editing the Series, you can select to link the pass, and select it from the dropdown:
Next Steps
Review the class settings to check the corresponding eligible passes.
Reviewing the Class/Pass Eligibility
Once tickets are enabled or a pass is linked to the Series for payment, you’ll want to adjust your Class/Pass Eligibility or simply check it to confirm it matches your intentions.
If a pass is eligible for the class, and has enough credits for the number of class sessions in the series, customers will be able to book without purchasing the ticket. You’ll want to edit the eligibility if you wish to allow/NOT allow certain passes to be used towards the series.
Head to Manage Classes, then click on the Class Name for the Series:
Click on Eligible Passes to select/deselect passes that will give access to the class and series:
If customers have an eligible pass that can cover the series for payment, they will be prompted to sign up without being prompted to purchase the ticket:
How customers can self-cancel their series reservation
If a customer has a series reservation made with a pass, they can cancel their reservation for all classes in the series by navigating to one of the classes on the calendar and clicking the button to cancel their series reservation.
Here's an example of what that looks like:
As ticketed series reservations are tied to a payment, customers aren't able to self-cancel their reservations.
