Emailing your customers from Punchpass

You can use Punchpass to send and track emails from your business.

You can email groups of customers right from Punchpass whenever you like.

This guide will illustrate how to use bulk email and direct messaging through Punchpass.

Who Can Send Emails from Punchpass

The option to send custom emails is available in the Customers section, on the individual class pages, and in various Reports.

Note: Sending emails through Punchpass is available to Administrator-level and Restricted-level users on all Punchpass plans. Learn more about adding staff to your Punchpass account here.


Sending Bulk Emails from Punchpass

The option to send custom emails is available in the Customers section, on the individual class pages, and in various Reports.

You choose to email all customers or email a selected group of customers with the checkboxes.

Don't forget you can sort the list of results by clicking on the column headers!

Email your Customer List

In this example, we'll send an email to everyone on the Active Customers list.

From the Customers section, select the Active Customers list and press the "Email All Customers."

Not interested in emailing everyone? You can also select specific customers and send an email to them.

Select the checkbox next to the customer name and press the button to "Email Selected Customers."

Emailing Customers from a Report

Navigate to the Reports section and select a report. (You might wish to use the search feature and/ or sort the table to identify your desired customers.)

You have a couple of options on Reports to email customers.

Send an email to selected customers

Each row will have a checkbox where email is available. Select the customer names and then press the button to "Email Selected Customers."

Or send an email to everyone in the report

To email everyone, you'll press the double-checkmark icon and choose the option, Select All.

Everyone will now be selected and the button to Email All Customers appears.

Press the button to email your customers and the message composition window will appear

If a class has reservations, Admins and Restricted-level users can email all of the registrants before class begins and also after class ends! Visit our guide to sending class emails

How Sending Emails through Punchpass Works

When sending group emails to your customers through Punchpass, each customer receives an individual email, so you don't have to worry about exposing your customer's email addresses.

Punchpass will also send a summary email to the company email address showing the message and listing all of the customers it was sent to.


Tracking Emails Sent to your Customers

You can find a Client Messages report in Punchpass that provides great details about each message that you sent manually, including the text of the email you crafted.  

In this report, you can review and copy messages you've sent before.  

We also provide some basic stats about each of these emails so you can make sure your emails were delivered and opened.
