People tend to trust recommendations from friends or family, making referrals highly effective.
Here's how you can set up a referral program in Punchpass and incentivize current customers to share your business.
How a Referral Program in Punchpass Can Work
In Punchpass, each customer account, allows you to take notes, so we recommend noting the details or credits for a customer there.
From the customer account, press the Info tab and you can add a note to the bottom of the page.
You can also edit a customer profile to note their referral source.
Rewarding your Customers
When the time comes to credit the customer, you can then create a discount code for them to use or you can assign them a free pass.
Here are some of our guides around those reward options:
Collecting Customer Referral Information
If you're on our Redwood plan, then you have the option of setting up a custom intake form and can collect this information and have it automatically entered into the customer profile.
For all other plans, you might consider setting up an automation using a welcome email template. The welcome email templateis sent out to all of your new customers and you'll manually record customer responses in their profiles.
To reach out to customers who already signed up, you'll find a report with all of your new customers listed in the Customers > New Customers section. You can email everyone from here could also consider using that same welcome email template to contact or email anyone who has signed up in the last six months.
