Updating your pass offers in Punchpass is easy. Whether you need to change the name, price, update the terms, or make other adjustments, this guide will walk you through the steps to edit an existing pass.
Who can use this feature?
Access to defining passes requires admin-level access to Punchpass.
Access to family accounts is a feature of Banyan and Redwood Punchpass plans.
Making Changes to an Existing Pass Offer
Note: If your pass has already been sold, to keep your records tidy, we recommend you create a copy of an existing pass and make any changes.
Navigate to your Passes
From Manage > Passess, click on the existing pass from your list of offers.
Access the Pass Settings
From the pass overview page, press the Actions dropdown and select Edit.
Updating the Pass Information and Assignment
Note: Making changes to the name, description, and pass assignment is pretty straightforward, however, the update will apply to all active passes.
Change the Pass Name or Description
First, you have the option to change the pass name.
In the text box below the name, you can add or update the description that customers will see on the purchase page:
Change the Pass Assignment (Family Accounts Only)
Note: Family accounts are supported with Banyan and Redwood Punchpass plans. This setting is only available if you have family accounts active (Manage > Settings > Online Reservations).
You can change a pass p from a family pass to one that is designated for individual people and vice versa.
A family is everyone on a customer account (customer + children). Individuals refer to one person; this can be a child or the primary person on a customer account.
Changing the Pass Settings: Visits, Prices, and Expiration Date
Making the following changes will impact future sales of the pass and will not apply to any passes already sold.
If your pass has already been sold, to keep your records tidy, we recommend you create a copy of an existing pass and make any changes.
After making these changes, if you need to update any existing passes, you'll need to visit a customer account and make any changes to their pass there.
Change the Number of Credits/Visits per Pass
You can edit the number of credits issued for a pass. Change the number and click save!
Changing the Pricing and Taxes
You can edit the price of a pass. Change the price and click save!
Change the Active and Expiration Date Determination
You can also adjust when a pass becomes active, how long the pass is good for, and how the system determines the expiration date.
Adjust the Online Sales Settings
And also adjust the online sales settings as well.
Save your Changes
After making any changes, remember to press Save.
