Once the Content Library is enabled, you can upload video files and documents to the library.

You can upload video files and PDFs, upload Zoom recordings, and share content hosted on Vimeo or YouTube accounts directly on Punchpass.

What content can you add to the Content Library?

In addition to your class recordings, you can add training descriptions, nutrition plans, and any other documentation you may wish to make available to your customers!

Right now, the content library doesn't support audio-only files. And there isn't a total limit on the number of videos you can upload.

Supported video formats

  • MP4

  • MOV

  • Files should be less than 3GB in size.

How to add items to the Content Library

From Manage > Settings, click on the Content Library, and then press + New Content.

Describe the content

When adding a new item to the Content Library, you'll fill out a form identifying the content and press Save.

When defining content you'll:

  • Give the content a name. This title will be seen by your customers.

  • Pin the content to the page. If you have a video you would like to ALWAYS be shown at the top of your library (for example a Welcome Video), you can 'Pin' the content and we'll always show it up top.

  • Add an optional description for the content.

  • Identify the content type: Video or PDF.

  • Identify where the content is hosted or select the option to upload it directly to Punchpass.

  • Set the expiration dates (optional). You can set the date the content will be active and expire (active date defaults to the date of the class).

  • Decide who should be able to access the content. For each item, you can decide and change the content permissions.

  • Add the content to a collection.

Setting up the content permissions

Who should be able to access each item you upload to the Content Library?

You'll select from the following content permission settings:

  • Everyone. Anyone who visits your Punchpass schedule be able to access the item you're uploading.

  • Logged-in customers only. A customer account is required and someone will need to sign in to view the Content Library.

  • Customers with a specific active pass that has access to the collection. These customers will also need to sign in to their Punchpass account to view the material.

  • Class attendees and registrants. Only those with a reservation or who attended the class will be able to access the content.

Uploading your content files

Your content is now defined!

If the content is on YouTube or Vimeo, you'll paste the link from these services and press Save.

Otherwise, after defining your content, if you're uploading the material directly to Punchpass, you'll be taken to the content overview page where you can upload the files.

Uploading video files

If you chose to have Punchpass host the video, the content overview page looks like the image below.

At the bottom of the page, you'll see upload the button.

When uploading a video file, large files can take a few minutes depending on your Internet connection. You'll want keep the browser tab or window open until the file has completely uploaded.

While the video file is uploading it will look like this:

After the file has been uploaded, a status message will appear indicating the content has been successfully uploaded.

Punchpass will now process the content, which takes a moment, depending on the file size.

This message will continue to appear until this process has completed.

When the process has completed, the content will include a preview image and is ready for sharing!

Uploading document files

When selecting PDF as your content type, the content overview page looks like the image below.

You have the option to upload the file at the bottom of the page.

After uploading the PDF file, a status message will appear and the content is now ready to share in your content library.

Next Steps

This might be all you need to do! If you're uploading a few video files to the library, you'll continue this process.
