Uploading video files, PDFs, Loom and Zoom recordings

Punchpass makes it easy to manage and share your content with your customers. Whether you're uploading videos, PDFs, or other resources, the Content Library allows you to organize your content in one place.

Follow these steps to add content to your library!

Who can use this feature?

Access to the Content Library is available with Banyan and Redwood plans. You can click here to review your current plan and make changes, or contact support if you have any questions.


Example Content You Add to the Content Library

In addition to your class recordings, you can add training videos, nutrition plans, and any other documentation you may wish to make available to your customers!

You can upload video files and PDFs, upload Zoom and Loom recordings, and share content hosted on Vimeo or YouTube accounts directly on Punchpass.

You can't upload audio-only files.

Supported video formats

  • MP4

  • MOV

  • Files should be less than 3GB in size.

Supported document formats

  • PDF

Limits

  • Files must be smaller than 3 GB.

  • There currently isn't a limit to the number of files you can upload.


How to Upload Material to the Content Library

Note: Once the Content Library is enabled, you can upload video files and documents to the library.

1. Access the Content Library

Navigate to the Content Library by clicking: Manage > Content Library from the navigation.

2. Define the Content and Press Save

Click on the Add New Content button to open the New Content form. Press Save after defining the content.

Describe the Content

  • Give the content a name. This title will be seen by your customers.

  • Pin the content to the page. If you have a video you would like to ALWAYS be shown at the top of your library (for example a Welcome Video), you can 'Pin' the content and we'll always show it up top.

  • Add an optional description for the content.

Tell Punchpass What You're Uploading

Define When the Content Should be Available

  • Set the expiration dates (optional). You can set the date the content will be active and expire (active date defaults to the date of the class).

Define Who Can Access the Material

  • Decide who should be able to access the content. For each item, you can decide and change the content permissions.

  • Add the content to a collection.

3. Upload the Content

Your content is now defined! You're ready to upload the content.

If the content is on YouTube or Vimeo, you'll paste the link from these services and press Save.


Uploading Video Files

If you're uploading the material directly to Punchpass, you'll want to download the file and drop the file into the be taken to the content overview page where you can upload the files.



Wait for the File to Upload

When uploading a video file, large files can take a few minutes depending on your Internet connection. You'll want keep the browser tab or window open until the file has completely uploaded.

While the video file is uploading it will look like this:

After the file has been uploaded, a status message will appear indicating the content has been successfully uploaded. The file will then be processed, which takes a moment, depending on the file size.

When the content is uploaded, it will include a preview image and is ready for sharing!



Uploading Document Files

When selecting PDF as your content type, the content overview page looks like the image below.

You have the option to upload the file at the bottom of the page.

After uploading the PDF file, a status message will appear and the content is now ready to share in your content library.

4. Review the Eligible Passes and Classes

Tip: You're welcome to preview the customer experience as an admin by clicking on the "Customer View" button. This requires your customer account to meet the criteria for viewing the content.

If the content is eligible for certain passes, we recommend visiting your Pass settings (Manage > Passes) to make sure the content collection is eligible with the pass.

If the content collection will be attached to a series, please review your series setting to make sure the content collection is selected (Manage > Classes > Select your Series).

If the content is linked to a class, you should see this information on the content overview page in the Content Library as well as the class page. Here's more information.

5. Share with Customers

Once your content is uploaded and organized, you can share the link with your customers and/or direct them to their content libraries.

They'll find the Content Library as a link in their navigation and the direct link to the Content Library is:
https://[your-business].punchpass.com/content-library

That's it! Your content is now available for your customers to view at their convenience.
