Need to delay the start date by a week? Extend the series? Skip a class for a holiday? Here's how to manage your series effectively:

Step 1: Add Additional Class Times to the Recurring Schedule

If you're adding classes to your series, create the new class times before editing the series itself.

  • You can add new classes to the Schedule directly: From the navigation, select Schedule and click the button to Add Single Class.

  • Or add new classes from the Class Overview page: Navigate to Manage → Classes. Scroll to the Active Classes section and select the class your series is based on. The button to Manage the Schedule is at the top of the class page.

Step 2: Edit the Series

Once the additional class times are added, you can modify the series settings and as well as add and remove classes. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Manage → Classes: In the Active Series section, select the series you want to edit to open the Series Details page and press the Edit button.

  2. Make Changes to the Series Settings:

    • To update the name, description, and registration details, click on the Change Series Settings tab.

  3. Add or Remove Classes in the Series:

    • Select the Change Individual Classes In The Series tab. Clicking the class times will add and remove them.

      • Included classes have a solid background color.

      • A class time will have the status "not available" if it's being used by another series.

  4. Save Your Changes: Once you've made the desired updates, click Save.

Step 3: Remove Any Outdated Class Times from the Schedule

We recommend then checking the Schedule for the class to remove any class times that are no longer needed.

Quickly Removing Individual Classes:

  1. From the Schedule, filter the view by selecting the class from the dropdown.

  2. Locate and delete any outdated class times. You can quickly delete a class by clicking on the three-dot icon next to a class name.

Updating a Recurring Class Schedule:

To remove a recurring class, you'll want to visit Manage > Classes, select the class, and from the overview page, click on the Manage Schedule button to make any changes. For more information on editing a recurring class, please see this guide.

Important Notes

  • Deleting the Series: If you delete a series, only the grouping is removed—the individual class times remain on the schedule and might need to be removed.

  • Customer Notifications When Editing a Series: If customers are already registered for the series, they will not be notified of changes. You’ll need to manually adjust their reservations for any new classes added.

By following these steps, you can ensure your series schedule is perfectly tailored to your needs!
