Who can use this feature?
Adding WhatsApp to your Punchpass account is available on all Punchpass plans.
How to Add WhatsApp Messaging to Your Punchpass Account
Go to General Settings section.
Enter the phone number you use with WhatsApp for your business.
Activate the WhatsApp Chat Widget
Press Save.
Visit the public side of your Punchpass app to test out the new WhatsApp chat!
How Customers Chat With You Through WhatsApp on Punchpass
Once installed, the WhatsApp Chat will appear in the bottom-right corner on the public side of Punchpass.
Customers will click on the WhatsApp icon to start chatting with you!
Opening the WhatsApp Chat on Mobile
If they have WhatsApp installed, Whatsapp will open the app, and start a new message with your business.
If they don’t have WhatsApp installed, they'll be prompted to download it to connect with your business or they can open the provided QR code with their phone to open the chat.
This makes it simple for customers to send you a message with just one click!
Opening WhatsApp on a Computer
If they have WhatsApp installed, Whatsapp will open the app, and start a new message with your business from their computer.
If they don’t have WhatsApp installed, they'll be prompted to download it to connect with your business.
If they don't want to install WhatsApp on their computer, they'll be provided with prompts from WhatsApp to access it from a web browser.
