New Feature Alert! As of August 2024, you can now create biweekly classes.

With Punchpass you can create events and workshops, add a single class, and define a timetable of repeating, regularly scheduled classes.

Setting up a recurring class in Punchpass is straightforward and offers flexibility for your scheduling needs. You can now choose whether your class repeats weekly or biweekly, giving you more control over your class schedule

Note: When we use the term "biweekly" to describe the frequency of repetition, it means occurring every two weeks or fortnightly.

Step 1: Create a New Class or Edit an Existing One

First, go to the Manage Classes section. If you’re creating a new class, click on Add a New Class and follow our guide to creating a class.

If you’re editing an existing class, find the class in your list and click on the name.

Step 2: Set Up the Recurring Schedule

From the class overview page, press the Manage the Schedule button.

In the class schedule setup, scroll down to the Add New Repeating Class Times section.

You'll select:

  • The days the class meets (you can select multiple days),

  • The time the class starts,

  • The date the class begins,

  • Choose if the class is weekly or biweekly

  • Choose the instructor,

  • Select a location, if applicable,

  • And if all the classes are free, you'll select that option.

Step 3: Review and Save

Once you’ve set the schedule and selected the instructor, click Add Class Time to save the recurring class setup.

By default, when adding recurring class times to the schedule, they'll be set up as "in-person" classes. After creating a recurring class schedule, you make recurring class times to be online.

After adding your recurring class times, the classes will appear on the Class Schedule.

Next Steps

After adding the class time to your schedule, you might wish to make some additional customizations!

Additional Notes

  • If you need to change the recurring schedule after saving, you can do so by editing the class and adjusting the Repeating Schedule option. Check out our guide to Editing a Recurring Schedule.

  • The biweekly option is particularly useful for classes that alternate with other activities or for those looking to offer a class on a less frequent basis.
