Would you like to share links to your offers that include the discount code?
Follow the instructions below so that when a customer follows one of these links, the discount code is already applied ahead of time!
Note: Discount codes are capitalized and will automatically convert to capitals when entered.
How to Create and Share Links to Public Passes with an Included Discount Code
Navigate to your public Purchase a Pass page.
From your public Purchase a Pass page, click on the name of the pass eligible for your discount.
Copy the link to the pass or membership. It should look something like:
https://btvfit.punchpass.com/catalogs/purchase/pass/3To add the discount code to the link, add the following to the end of the link "/gift_card_code/DISCOUNTCODE".
For example, for the discount code 'NEWYEAR', the link to the pass with the discount code is:
https://btvfit.punchpass.com/catalogs/purchase/pass/3/gift_card_code/NEWYEARAdd a button on your website that points to that link.
How to Create and Share Links to a Gift Card with a Discount Code Included
Navigate to your public Purchase a Pass page.
From your public Purchase a Pass page, click on the gift card.
Copy the link to the gift card. It should look something like:
https://btvfit.punchpass.com/catalogs/purchase/pass/150210To add the discount code to the link, add the following to the end of the link "/gift_card_code/DISCOUNTCODE".
For example, for the discount code '20_PERCENT_OFF', the link to the gift card with the discount code is:
https://btvfit.punchpass.com/catalogs/purchase/pass/150210/gift_card_code/20_PERCENT_OFFAdd a button on your website that points to that link.
How to Create and Share Links to Unlisted Passes with an Included Discount Code
This option is great if your running a promotion from your mailing list or if you'd like to share an offer with a certain groups of customers!
Please note the discount code you'd like to use for this pass. For example,
EARLYBIRD10.From Manage > Passes, select the pass to open the overview page, and copy the Purchase link.
To add a discount code to your unlisted offer, you'll insert "/gift_card_code/DISCOUNTCODE" at the end of the link, but before the "?" that separates the parameters.
In this example, the purchase link is:
https://btvfit.punchpass.com/catalogs/purchase/pass/2020?check=1408533205
The gift card code becomes:/gift_card_code/EARLYBIRD10
And the new link to the unlisted pass with the discount code included becomes:
https://btvfit.punchpass.com/catalogs/purchase/pass/2020/gift_card_code/EARLYBIRD10?check=1408533205
Test the resulting link in an incognito window of your web browser! You should see the purchase form and the discount code applied.
