Need to reach everyone in a class, fast? Use the Reservation Phone Numbers section in any class to one-click copy your customers' phone numbers. Then, paste the numbers into a group text or WhatsApp message so you can reach the whole class in seconds.
This feature is for time-sensitive updates your clients need before they show up, like:
Class is canceled at the last minute (instructor illness, weather, power outage)
The class is moving to a different room, location, or start time
There's an unexpected building or parking issue that customers should know about before arriving to class
For anything less urgent, email is best since it keeps contact details private!
Messaging Everyone in a Class:
From your Home Page or your admin Schedule, click into the specific class
On the left side of the page, find the Reservation Phone Numbers box. It lists the number for each customer currently reserved in that class.
Click Copy to clipboard under the box to copy ALL phone numbers
Open your phone's messaging app or WhatsApp and start a new group message
Paste the numbers into the recipient field
Type out your message and hit send
Note: Some messaging apps only accept numbers added one at a time. If If pasting the whole list doesn't work, you can copy and paste the numbers individually.
Be aware: everyone will see everyone's number
This is not like BCC in an email or how Punchpass sends your custom group emails individually. When you send a group text or WhatsApp message, everyone can see every other person's phone number, and replies may go to the whole group.
Before you hit send, you might want to consider:
Is it urgent? This tool is meant for time-sensitive class updates, not marketing or general announcements
Are your clients comfortable with it? Some people prefer to keep their number private. If you're unsure, send individual messages instead, or use Email Everyone at the top of the class page, which keeps addresses private
Reply-all chatter. Let people know up front if they should reply to you directly rather than the group
