Adding and Managing Notices for Special Announcements

Keep your community informed with eye-catching schedule notices that ensure no one misses your important announcements

Going on vacation or closing for a holiday? Or is there a special happening at your studio? Let your customers know about holidays, studio closures, or special events using Punchpass's Notice feature.

What are Notices?

Notices are public announcements that appear on your schedule to inform your customers about important information such as:

  • Holiday closures

  • Vacation periods

  • Special events

  • Temporary schedule changes

Creating a Notice

Option 1: From the Notices Page

  1. From the Punchpass navigation, click on Schedule, then select Notices

  2. Enter the dates for your notice:

    • For a single day: Enter the same date in both date fields

    • For a date range: Use the first field for the Start Date and the second for the End Date

  3. Add a header/title for your notice

  4. Enter any important details in the description field

  5. Click Save

Option 2: Directly from the Schedule

You can also create notices directly from the Schedule view for added convenience. Navigate to the day on the calendar and click the three-dot icon. You'll see the button to add a calendar notice.

Editing a Notice

We've added the ability to edit existing notices! Here's how:

  1. From the Punchpass navigation, click on Schedule, then select Notices

  2. Find the notice you want to modify

  3. Click the Edit notice button next to the notice

  4. Update any information as needed (dates, title, or description)

  5. Click Save to apply your changes

Deleting a Notice

If you need to remove a notice completely:

  1. From the Punchpass navigation, click on Schedule, then select Notices

  2. Locate the notice you wish to delete

  3. Click the Remove notice button on the right side of that notice

Managing Classes During Closures

With Punchpass you can cancel or delete all of the classes for the day or individually.

Need to Cancel Classes?

Note: When canceling a class, this doesn't automatically delete the reservations, so you'll want to do that first.

To cancel all classes for a day:

  1. From the Schedule or Calendar view, click the three-dot icon for the specific day

  2. Select the option to cancel all classes for that day

  3. Confirm the change


To cancel individual classes:

  1. From the Calendar or Schedule, click the three-dot icon next to a specific class

  2. Select the option to mark the class as canceled

  3. You'll be prompted to confirm the change

Note: If there are any reservations for the classes, you'll need to address and remove those from the class before you can delete it.

  1. From the Schedule or Calendar view, click the three-dot icon for the specific day

  2. Select the option to delete all classes for that day

  3. Confirm the change
