In this guide, we'll go through how to change existing memberships and passes from being eligible to an entire family to individuals (and vice versa).

When updating the settings, you can:

  • Change who can use the pass or membership offer in the sales settings,

  • Manually edit who can use an active pass or membership from the customer account.

Let's dive in!

Who can use this feature?
Access to defining passes requires admin-level access to Punchpass.

Memberships and family accounts are a feature of Banyan and Redwood Punchpass plans.

Background

To activate the family accounts feature on your Punchpass plan, please visit Manage > Settings > Online Reservations.

  • Family accounts are any customer accounts with children added to them.

  • Individuals are one person. They can be customer accounts and children.

When activating the family account feature, any existing passes and memberships will automatically be designated as "family" passes and memberships.

1. Update the Offer Settings for Future Sales
