How to link documents, training plans, and external forms to a customer account

You can link external documents or forms, such as waivers, training plans, or nutrition plans, directly to a customer’s account in Punchpass. This feature allows you to keep important documents easily accessible and organized within each customer’s profile.

Who can use this feature?

This feature is automatically available to all eligible accounts, but only users with admin and restricted-level access can view this information.

If you'd like to share documents with customers you can email them from Punchpass and/or upload files to the Content Library.



How to Link External Documents or Forms to a Customer Account

  1. Create the Document or Form: Ensure that the document or form is hosted online. This could be a waiver, a training plan, a nutrition plan, or any other type of document relevant to your business.

  2. Obtain the Link: Copy the URL of the hosted document or form. If you're using a service like Google Forms, Dropbox, or a similar platform, ensure the link is set to shareable.

  3. Link the Document in Punchpass:

    • Go to the customer’s profile in Punchpass and click on the Info tab, and press the Edit Info button.

    • Paste the link into the Custom Customer Link field.

  4. Save the changes to ensure the document or form is now accessible from the customer’s account to your staff with admin and restricted access.


Examples of Linked Documents

  • Second Waiver: If your business requires customers to sign a second waiver for specific activities, you can link the waiver form directly to their account for easy access and record-keeping.

  • Training Plans: Personal trainers can link individual training plans to each client’s account, making it easy for both the trainer and the client to access the plan at any time.

  • Nutrition Plans: Nutritionists can link customized meal plans to a client’s account, allowing for streamlined updates and easy access.

Linking external documents and forms is a simple yet powerful way to enhance your customer management in Punchpass. Whether you’re keeping track of legal documents, fitness plans, or any other type of form, this method helps keep everything in one place.
