Removing customer reservations for upcoming classes

You can delete a reservation for an upcoming class in a couple of places in Punchpass!

Deleting Class Reservations paid with Passes

Note: If the class reservation was paid for by a ticket, you'll want to see our guide below!

From the class details page, click on the three-dot icon next to the customer name and press the trash can icon to delete the reservation.

From the customer account, for upcoming classes, scroll down to the Reservations in Upcoming Classes, click the three-dot icon next to the class and select the option to Delete Reservation.

Deleting a Customer Reservation that was paid for with a Class Ticket

You have a couple of options to cancel a reservation paid for by ticket.

  1. Mark the reservation as a No-show. Marking the attendance as a No Show will take the customer off the Waiting to Attend list (canceling their reservation), but keep the record of the ticket purchase on your sales reports.

  2. Manage the ticket and then delete the reservation. These are two separate steps. First, you'll address the ticket and then you'll address the customer reservation.

    Ways to manage the ticket and delete the reservation:

    • You can delete the ticket (no refund) and then delete the reservation.

    • If the ticket was paid with something other than Stripe, you can delete the ticket and then delete the reservation.

    • If you're refunding the customer ticket, you can then:

      • Mark them as a no-show to get them off the class list, but keep the record of the ticket purchase and refund on your sales reports.

      • Delete their ticket and then delete their reservation.


Deleting a Standing Reservation

If a customer has a standing reservation for a class, you can delete that by visiting the customer's account or by navigating directly to the Standing Reservations Report and pressing Delete.

When you delete a customer's reservation be sure to let your customers know that their reservations have been changed. They are not notified automatically.

How to Bulk Delete Reservations

You can remove many reservations at once by going to Reports, then Pending/Upcoming Reservations.

When deleting reservations in bulk, your customers are NOT notified automatically.

To delete the reservations in bulk:

  1. Use the Date Range functionality to select the range you want,

  2. Select the reservations you'd like to delete,

  3. And then press the Actions dropdown and select Delete Selected Reservations.

Deleting Customer Reservations in a Ticketed Series

Deleting a reservation in a ticketed series works is a two-step process where you'll manage the customer's ticket and then you can remove their reservation from the Series.

1. Manage the Ticket

You'll find the link to manage a series ticket in a couple of places in Punchpass: the customer account, on a details page for one of the classes, and on the series overview page.

Depending on how the ticket was paid, you'll either delete the ticket (no refund) or refund the ticket.

2. Once the ticket has been addressed, you can remove the series reservation.

There are two ways to do this, from the customer account, where you're able to remove them from all classes in the series, or you can remove each reservation individually by visiting each of the class pages.

  • From the customer account: In the Overview tab, scroll down to the Series Reservations section, click on the Actions menu, and select Remove From Series. This removes the customer from all classes.

  • From a class page: Click on the three-dot icon next to the customer name and select the trashcan icon to remove the reservation. Repeat for each class.

Deleting Customer Reservations for a Series paid with a Pass

When a series has a pass linked to it for payment, you can delete a reservation for all the classes in the series from the customer account or from the series overview page.

To remove the customer from individual classes, navigate to the specific class page.

  • From the customer account: In the Overview tab, scroll down to the Series Reservations section, click on the Actions menu, and select Remove From Series. This removes the customer from all classes.

  • From the series overview page: Scroll down to the Registered Customers section and select the option to Delete Reservations. The customer is removed from all of the classes in the series.


  • From a class page: Click on the three-dot icon next to the customer name and select the trashcan icon to remove the reservation. Repeat for each class.
