Assigning a membership and having customers select the start date

As an Admin, it's possible to start a membership on the first of the month (or whatever date you like) by manually assigning a membership to begin on a specific date.

You can also modify the renewal date for existing memberships.

And alternatively, when purchasing a membership, a customer can also select the start date.

How to assign a membership that begins on the first of a month

  1. Go into the customer's account and press Assign a Membership.

  2. Choose the membership offer from the dropdown menu.


  3. Complete the membership assignment details. To select the date the membership should begin, press the calendar icon to open up the date picker.


  4. Click the button to Assign Membership.

Now the customer's membership will start on the first of the month and will renew from that point forward according to the way you defined the membership!



How customers can select a start date for their membership

Customers can also select the date to start the membership (if the membership doesn't include a free trial period) when they make their purchase online.

Customers are not charged until their membership is scheduled to begin.
